Across several days slowly start placing the newspaper closer and closer to the balcony. The pup seeing the news paper will understand this is where it needs to poo and pee. Puppy Training Pads
Though incredibly effective, the newspaper has the drawback that after the puppy has pee’ed or poo’ed on it, it filters though the paper and soils the floor under the paper. The area has to be cleaned up again. Instead of newspapers, puppy training pads can be used. The materials is absorbent, can be folded and thrown away after use without much mess being left on the floor below the pad or around it.
